Enumerations

Enumeration reports provide details about the process used to register voters in advance of election events, the costs to do so, and statistical information about the enumeration activities.

  • The 2018 Enumeration was conducted from August 1, 2018 – October 12, 2018 in preparation for the 2019 Provincial General Election. Three methods of enumeration were used; online, by telephone and at the door. The report was tabled in the Legislature on October 10, 2019.

  • The Register was updated through a door-to-door enumeration in the period
    from August 26 to September 19, 2011 under the authority of section 13.1(2)(a) of the
    Election Act.

  • The Provincial General Enumeration was held between August 28 and September 12, 2004. Over 1.9 Million electors were added or confirmed, representing 97.4% of the total voters contained on the post-election list.

  • The Provincial General Enumeration was held between August 26 and September 11, 2000. Over 1.8 Million electors were added or confirmed, representing 95.1% of the total voters contained on the post-election list.
